Ruga23 is a recently renovated building dating back to 1800.
During the renovation process we were amazed and delighted to discover affresco from 1800 under the plaster. My aunt Luciana, who is a professional art restorer, lovingly restored these
affrescos to the original beauty.
The apartments (Ruga23/1 e Ruga23/2), arranged on 2 floors and for 4 persons each, are located in the heart of historic center of Cortona
in Via Nazionale, which is the main street that connects Piazza della Repubblica with Piazza Garibaldi.
Ruga23 is ideal for large families and friends travelling together who would like to stay in the same place, but with added privacy.
The entire apartment contains two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one full kitchen with a terrace with view on the alleys and a second small kitchen.
The apartment, located on the first floor, can be separated in two smaller by means of a communicating door.

These apartments can be joined together to form one large apartment by a communicating door.
The entire apartment, located on the second floor, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms with a large shower, one kitchen and one kitchenette fully equipped. On request
one double bedroom could be changed into two single beds.

La Posizione é ottima, l'accoglienza del proprietario e del personale é calorosa e professionale. Gli arredi sono antichi, tipici e curati, sembra di soggiornare in un castello... We spend two nights at this lovely hotel. It is located just outside of Cortona. You can see Cortona on the hill above. Our room was perfect and had a view of the gardens. The breakfast was wonderful with eggs, local meats and cheeses, several types of bread and delicious cakes. The property is beautiful with flowers all around, a nice pool, and vineyards where they harvest grapes for their own wine. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening and it was great. I would love to go back!
